And based upon this track, which Nai Palm cites as a tribute to her musical hero Stevie Wonder, it’s bound to be an insane trip. The 70-minute, 18-track album was conceived while touring the world, in contrast to the generally static creation of their debut LP Tawk Tomahawk.

This first studio cut of the track will serve as the lead single to their forthcoming sophomore album, Choose Your Weapon, to be released May 5 via Flying Buddha. The Grammy-nominated Melbourne, Australia based neo-soul ensemble Hiatus Haiyote teased this gorgeous, panoramic, key-changing mess of a track twice in 2013: first in August for an extended live set by Boiler Room and then two months later on Seattle’s KEXP.
